INSTALLATION NOTE

By combining accurate pattern data, professional software, and correct installation techniques, Protect+ systems help reduce installation risks while improving efficiency and final finish quality.

Important:

If you encounter any issues during installation, please contact our support team immediately. Your real-time feedback helps us continuously improve our software, data accuracy, and installation performance.

INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

  1. Thoroughly spray the installation area using Protect+ Gel or a standard slip solution.

  2. Remove the film from the liner and position it onto the wet surface. Lightly spray the adhesive side if additional slip is required.

  3. Using a squeegee or a wrapped card (preferably microfiber), gently push water and air toward the edges.

  4. The film may be lifted and repositioned if necessary. Always re-wet both the paint and film surface before repositioning.

  5. Carefully stretch the film around curves to ensure proper conformity on bumpers, curved hoods, and complex body shapes.

  6. For larger panels, install from one side to the other. While one installer maintains controlled tension, another secures the film using fingers, microfiber, or a squeegee.

FILM REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS

  • Warm the surface by placing the vehicle under sunlight or using a heat gun or hair dryer.

  • Lift one corner of the film carefully with a fingernail.

  • Pull the film back at a shallow angle below 45° to ensure the adhesive releases cleanly from the paint surface.

  • The film should stretch smoothly away from the vehicle.

  • Any remaining adhesive residue can be removed using a standard automotive adhesive remover.

TECHNICAL NOTES

  • Protect+ Gel is a ready-to-use installation gel and does not require dilution.

  • A 1:100 diluted solution may be used optionally as a slip solution, depending on installer preference and working conditions.

  • Apply solution evenly to both the paint surface and film to allow smooth positioning.

  • Overlap squeegee strokes by approximately one-third of the previous pass to prevent trapped moisture.

  • Avoid excessive film movement or repeated stretching during installation.

  • Pay special attention to edges and corners. For large-radius areas, use controlled push techniques rather than aggressive pulling.

  • If any lifting or folding occurs, wrap the squeegee with microfiber or absorbent paper and gently flatten to prevent dust contamination.

RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION SEQUENCE

  1. Rinse the surface, align corners, and lightly secure them

  2. Align the upper edge and drain water toward both ends

  3. Squeegee and secure from top to bottom

  4. Secure door handle areas

  5. Align and wipe rearview mirror sections

  6. Final corner alignment and water drainage

PANEL INSTALLATION GUILDLINE

Fix the film strictly according to the numbered points.

Each number represents the correct sequence for anchoring and securing the film.

Start from point to establish the initial position.

Continue fixing the film step by step following the numbered order to control alignment, tension, and shape.

Complete the installation by squeegeeing in the directions indicated by the arrows, releasing tension gradually for a smooth and clean finish.
